H. Mattew Taylor Appointed as New Board of Trustees Member for CASA

Stark & Stark congratulates Litigation Associate Matthew Taylor, who was recently elected onto the Board of Trustees for the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Mercer and Burlington counties. Matthew will join ten other Board of Trustees members at CASA.

CASA is an organization that appoints community volunteers to investigate cases of abused and neglected children, make recommendations, and represent the best interests of the child. CASA of Mercer County was established in 2000, and CASA of Burlington County was established in 2007. The two groups merged to create the CASA of Mercer and Burlington counties in 2011, in an effort to increase efficiency and better share resources. In this year alone, approximately 280 children have been served by 180 advocates through CASA of Mercer and Burlington counties.

Matthew has previously worked with CASA of Mercer and Burlington counties on their spring 5k event. At Stark & Stark, he is an Associate and member of the Litigation, Mass Tort and Intellectual Property Practice Groups, for which he has written several blog posts.
